Meeting 2/17, 7:30pm @ Greenbelt Community Center

Matt writes: The Greenbelt Writers Group will be meeting this Friday, Feb. 17 at The Greenbelt Community Center from 7:30-9:30pm. I would like to discuss the one-act play festival, and other future plans. All ideas are welcome. Maybe for fun we could do some spontaneous writing around African-American, or even African artwork, as this is Black History month. I have a book of paintings of Basquiat which I will bring. Feel free to bring your own stuff as well. As usual, there will be open readings. If you'd like to bring in favorite African-American writings to share, that would be great as well.
Thanks!

President Matt Arbach notes that we all learned about storytelling from myths, fables, and fairy tales, and suggests that we write one of our own at this meeting. Join us, and bring a concept or moral that you'd like to incorporate.
