The July meeting of the Greenbelt Writers Group will take place on Friday, July 17 from 7:30-9:30pm at the Greenbelt Community Center. Our guest speaker is local author Joy Jones. We hope to see you there!

A recent reminder from GWG President Matt Arbach states that "Our meeting this Friday, June 19 from 7;30-9:30pm at the Greenbelt Community Center will be devoted to peace. If you'd like, please share original and/or favorite writings on the subject. If you'd like to read anything else, that's great too. See you then!"

The next meeting of The Greenbelt Writers Group will be devoted to the subject of peace and take place on on Friday, June 19 fom 7:30-9:30pm at the Greenbelt Community Center. All are invited to bring in writings, both original and/or selected, that deal with this important issue. Non-members of the group are encouraged to attend as well. We hope to see you there!

Poetry Celebration

In May 2009, the Greenbelt Writers Group will host a Poetry Celebration. Details will follow on this blog. Between then and now, attend our April 17th Open Reading. Join us at 7:15pm at the Greenbelt Community Center, 15 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, Maryland. We hope to see you soon!
